The new state-of-the-art West Pearland Library’s GRAND OPENING is tomorrow, April 9th!
This new facility is located at 11801 Shadow Creek Parkway, Pearland, and is 39,000 square feet!! The $19.82 million building was funded through the Shadow Creek Ranch Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone, which collects tax revenue from the Shadow Creek Ranch development, city officials said.
The West Pearland Library is a wonderful asset to the community and according to Joshua Lee, the Pearland Director of Communications, the new library is expected to be the most visited library in Brazoria county!
Besides the accessibility to thousands of books, the library offers multiple amenities, including a 100-seat teaching room, multipurpose community rooms, multiple private study rooms, an audio studio that will be available for rent for recording, and a child-friendly play area, and so much more!
This is very exciting for the community and we can’t wait to visit the new library!
