Alvin ISD covers 252 square miles in northern Brazoria County and serves the communities of Alvin, Manvel, Iowa Colony, Liverpool, Amsterdam, and parts of Rosharon, Arcola, and Pearland. Approximately 26,000 students make Alvin ISD the largest school district in Brazoria County. Alvin ISD continues to see significant growth in student population. Enrollment continues to increase by about 1,200 students each year. The district has three high schools, seven junior high schools and eighteen elementary schools and a College and Career Academy. Alvin ISD employs approximately 3,197 people dedicated to the district’s educational mission.

Ft. Bend ISD is Texas’ eighth largest with approximately 76,000 students and one of the most diverse in the nation. FBISD currently has 80 campuses: 11 high schools, 15 middle schools, 50 elementary campuses and three unique secondary campuses to address the academic and vocational interests of students. With more than 11,000 full-time employees and substitutes, the District is the largest employer in Fort Bend County.
