Alvin ISD Celebrates Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month!

February is Career and Technical Education Month!!

Are you familiar with CTE programs? It is the goal of the AISD Career and Technical Education department to create classroom environments for students composed of rigorous, industry-approved curricula that provide students with a safe, economical opportunity to experience real-world application of core content, guiding students to explore options available to them for college and career paths.

The CTE program accentuates state and national standards by enabling students to gain entry-level employment in high-skill, high-wage jobs and/or looking to continue their education. Alvin ISD CTE Programs are committed to attracting, developing, and preparing students for diverse careers that reflect current and future industry trends.
