For the second year in a row, Alvin Independent School District has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2020 honor by The Houston Chronicle. The award is determined based on employees feedback measuring aspects of workplace culture.
Many of the students who reside in Lakes of Savannah attend Alvin ISD schools and can attest to the positive environment created by teachers and staff. Alvin ISD is one of only two school districts that made the list this year.
To be honored in such challenging times is just another display of the district’s dedication to their students. Alvin ISD Superintendent Carol Nelson states, “I am grateful for our employees and thank them for engaging our students each day and for making Alvin ISD a Top Workplace for 2020.”
Congratulations Alvin ISD on a job well-done!
