Alvin ISD Recognizes School Board

Lakes of Savannah students attend the highly-acclaimed Alvin ISD.  This year, Alvin ISD is joining other Texas districts in celebrating January as School Board Recognition Month.

School board’s have met unprecedented challenges this year in an attempt to continue providing excellent educational experiences to their diverse group of students. Alvin ISD has required district leaders to work as a team to be creative, adaptive and quick to solve problems to meet changing laws and regulations.

Alvin ISD board, responsible for over 25,000 students and 4,500 employees,  came through in protecting our staff and students while ensuring academic progress. This was unfamiliar territory, but our trustees were determines and steadfast. The celebration of School Board Recognition is only one way to extend thanks.
