The Brazoria County Library System has announced that it will be opening all branches June 1 with reduced occupancy. A limited number of computers will be available for public use, but toys, games and puzzles and other interactive areas will be unavailable. Seating is temporarily reduced and meeting and study rooms will remain closed.
The Tom Reid Library will be open Mon. 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Tue. 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Wed.-Sat. 10 a.m.-6 p.m
The Pearland Westside Library will be open Mon.-Wed. 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Thu. 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Fri.-Sat. 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Curbside pickup services will continue to be available noon-5 p.m. on days the libraries are open.
The Friendswood Library will also open June 1, and its hours will be Mon.-Fri. 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
There will be a one-hour limit for visiting the library and patrons will be asked to practice social distancing when inside. Wearing a mask is also encouraged. Computers will be available by appointment only through the Reference Department, and some scanning and printing will be offered.
