As High School Juniors and Seniors, the daunting question becomes, “What’s next?” Alvin ISD is hosting a College Fair on Thursday, November 14 to help students answer this question for themselves. Hopefully this event will help to ease any stress that students will have when they are asked about their future plans after high school! This event is open to all middle and high school students.
Alvin ISD College Fair
Thursday, November 14
6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
JB Hensler College & Career Academy
7380 Lewis Lane
Manvel, TX 77578
There will be over 50 colleges and universities at the event to speak with students and parents about their campuses and what makes each of them unique. Students can determine what aspect of college life is most important to them while parents will be able to find more information about costs and the different financial options available. There will be information about financial aid and scholarships at this event for students and parents to learn more about.
For students who may be unsure about continuing their education, recruiters from military academies will be available to help them figure out if serving the country is the right path for them. Talking to these recruiters can give students insight as to why the representatives chose to serve instead of going to college.
