The Houston Zoo opens its doors early from 7 am to 9 am on Saturday, September 29 for Photo Day: Carnivore Close Up. This unique event allows visitors to take photographs of the Zoo’s grounds and animal exhibits in the morning light and cooler weather.
Featured animals include jaguars, cougars, tigers and lions. Many of the animals are more active in the early mornings before the heat sets in, at Photo Day rare moments are yours to capture.
Ticket holders are treated to a continental breakfast. Register early to receive a $5 discount, ticket prices vary from $30 to $45, children 2 and under are free. Visit houstonzoo.org for more information.
