Pearland Scout teaches bike safety to local residents

Pearland resident and Scout Ryan Ensmann with Troop 464 chose to teach community kids how to ride their bikes safely as his Eagle Scout service project. The project took place on May 24 at Sasser Park and consisted of different stations set up for certain components of bike safety for community kids, Ensmann said. Eagle Scout is the highest attainable rank in Boy Scouts of America, and in order to achieve this rank, the candidate must complete an extensive service project. Ensmann used his service project to help make Pearland a safer place for all residents. For more on this story, visit here.
