Pearland Mayor Tom Reid wins reelection as longest-serving mayor in Pearland history

Pearland Mayor Tom Reid recently won reelection after the June 10 runoff between Reid and opposing candidate Quentin Wiltz. Reid won the election by 19 percentage points, receiving 7,960 votes to contestant Quentin Wiltz's 5,447 votes. 91-year-old Reid is the longest serving mayor in City of Pearland history, having served from 1978-1990 and 1995-present.
