Manvel Junior High Moves to New Campus for 2012/13 School Year

Junior high school students living in Lakes of Savannah will be attending a new campus for the 2012/13 school year.

Manvel Junior High, which opened in 1970, will be moving to a new campus this school year. The new school will be called Manvel Junior High at Rodeo Palms and is located at 101 Palm Desert Drive in Manvel, near Texas 288 and County Road 48. 

The school will retain the same teaching staff, mascot - Warrior, and traditions.

The new campus has capacity for up to 1000 students and more room and facilities for extracurricular activities. The 168,000 sf complex consists of classrooms, practice and competition gymnasiums, science labs, theater arts, band halls, cafetorium, administrative offices and library. Exterior features include parking, football fields, athletic track and field events, landscaping and site utilities.

Warrior Camp for students A - M will be held August 14, 2012 and students N - Z August 15, 2012. First day of class will be August 27th.
