Pearland’s Hometown Christmas Festival is coming to Pearland on Friday Dec. 3rd. The celebration will start off with the lighting of the city’s Christmas tree by Mayor Reid and end with a visit and photo ops with Santa Claus, all to be held at Pearland Town Center located at 11200 Broadway Street.
Live entertainment will be on hand for the family to enjoy as well as 30,000 pounds of snow that will be brought in for a sledding hill. There will also be a horse and carriage available for rides.
The 29th Annual Lighted Christmas Parade will then be held on Saturday December 4th at 5:30 pm. The theme for this year is “A Hawaiian Christmas”. There will be a drill team performance, classic cars, company floats and community members all participating in the parade that will run on FM 518 from Pearland Parkway to Old Alvin Rd.
