Two “Friends and Family CPR” classes will be offered by the Pearland EMS on May 21, 2011. The classes are free and are being held in honor EMS Week.
The “Friends and Family CPR” classes will offer individuals a lifesaving opportunity to learn how to give CPR to an adult, child or infant. Each class will be about 45 minutes, including the viewing of a DVD followed by students' reenactments of the techniques viewed and instructions on mastering the skill to the best of their ability.
The first class will start at 10 a.m. on Saturday and the second class will start at noon. Anyone interested may arrive a few minutes prior to the class start time of their choice as registration is not necessary.
