Experience the sights, sounds and tastes of the season this year at the 14th Annual Christmas Train. Remaining dates for the 2013 season are December 19-23, 6:30-10 p.m. Soak up the Christmas Spirit and make holiday memories with your family at this amazing Christmas event that is not to be missed!
The fun begins as you enter the beautifully decorated Depot. Once inside, you and your family can enjoy funnel cakes, cotton candy, cappuccino, hot cocoa and soft drinks, popcorn, nachos, cookies and more. Warm up by the cozy fireplace and listen to some Christmas music and explore the gift shop. There are giant Christmas trees and other fun decorations everywhere that kids love.
Kids of all ages enjoy having their picture taken with Santa and marveling at the details of the 176-square-feet miniature Christmas village. Of course, there's the excitement of riding one of two 24-gauge trains over 3/4-miles of track and through a Christmas wonderland of more than 270,000 lights and delightful scenery.
Across the lake, Big Al's Pizza serves up the tastiest pizza in the area, made with the freshest ingredients. On the way, stop off at Mrs. Claus' House with the kids to hear her read the real story of Christmas. Stop by the North Pole Post Office to mail a letter to Santa.
Admission is free. Train ride tickets are sold online at http://www.thechristmastrain.org. Train rides are $4 for children 3-11 and $8 for adults. Children 2-and-under ride free. Special discount night, December 19, features a $2 discount for children and seniors 60+ until 9 p.m.
We can't wait for you to join us on Victory Camp Railroad as it travels from the North Pole all the way to the manger. The kids will love it, and so will you!
