Brazoria County Library System Offers New Ways to Get Books

In the past, when you wanted to check out a new book, you would head down to your local library, hand pick your book and check it out via a librarian. Today, the Brazoria County Library System is offering patrons an exciting new way to get their hands on the books they are seeking.

Brazoria County Library Systems has a new service available that allows book lovers the opportunity to download their selections as audio or e-book. Library users can look through several collections from the website and check out and download any books they want with a valid library card. Users simply need to install the free software to get started.

The new audio service is now available at BCLS.Lib.Overdrive.com.

OneDrive Media Console should be installed for users who want to download e-audio books. Adobe Digital Editions should be installed for users who want to download e-books.

All books checked out will expire after a two week lending period. No late fees will be ever be charged!
